SALCEDO'S CONQUEST OF LAGUNA
Category: History

This is a nice article about the Spanish conquest of Laguna written by Bambi Harper. Pila was used as a temporary garrison by Salcedo and his troops and as a staging area for the attack against the town of Bai. Salcedo retreated to Pila after an unsuccessful attack against Bai were he treated his wounded soldiers. Historia de Filipinas Volume II by Pedro Paterno was the source of information.
